Committees
RW is fortunate to have several residents willing to share their personal and professional expertise in this field. Alongside building management, they help ensure that we not only stay on top of preventative and predictive maintenance programs, but also identify and strategically prioritize projects critical to the ongoing safety and operation of the building.
This key committee works in tandem with the Board and building management to keep us on fiscal track. They help establish an approved annual operating budget, then monitor expenditures for compliance; review all financial statements for accuracy; monitor our reserve funds; review drafts of reserve studies; and more.
Keeping the exterior landscaping and grounds looking attractive and inviting is no small task, but it’s one that brings beautiful results. This committee establishes and oversees implementation of a primary landscape plan for RW, from trees to flowers, annuals to perennials, community garden opportunities to the pet area.
Residents serving on this committee work together to develop a cohesive design plan along with the guidelines to be followed. They then oversee various aesthetic initiatives associated with interior common areas, from capital projects like renovating the main lobby to ongoing annual maintenance like paint touch ups, elevator tile replacement, and more.
Members of this committee are at the heart of RW. They bring us together at least four times a year, luring us with a variety of aromatic nibbles, plenty of bevs, and the opportunity to socialize beyond hallway and elevator conversations. If you like throwing good parties, this is the committee for you.
Committee members oversee ongoing projects connected to the newly rebranded RW identity, both on the property and within digital media, from public-facing signage to internal homeowner communications. All work together to celebrate RiverWest’s storied history, our roadmap for the future, and shared community pride.
